ROSE QUARTZ, AMETHYST & CITRINE
Rose Quartz, Amethyst and contain powerful healing and energy vibrations. Not only are they beautiful as visual crystals, but they also hold within them a power that inter-relates to all around. Beneficial to the human body, they also 'heal' lesser crystals, changing positively and increasing the vibrant life within them. They heal crystals that have witnessed scenes of human distress, having had seeped into them vibrations that have sealed up their own healing qualities. After cleansing and activating a crystal, lay it upon a large bed of Amethyst. Lay upon it's upper side small rose-quartz, amethyst and peridot stones. Citrine can be used as the intuition guides.
ROSE QUARTZ
One of the major healing stones used today is Rose Quartz. It is good for calming the mind and bringing peace to the nerves. It helps to soothe away discordant thoughts and feelings of loneliness. Often it is called the Parent Stone or the Stone of Unconditional Love. It reaches into the heart chakra making living more bearable to those who feel lost and unprotected. A gentle, peace-making stone that sends it's vibrations into the worlds that are tied up within our hearts. Rose Quartz is invaluable to those recuperating from illness; healing and relaxing. Gentle and powerful it heals wounds that have been carried within the heart for years. It is ideal for children, and they seem to recognise immediately the love this stone has for them. One of it's benefits is that it encourages a feeling of love for oneself. Feeling worthy of love the heart chakra relaxes. This enables it to give out love, unselfishly, without expecting any returns. Rose Quartz helps to forgive, release tension and resentments, and prepares the self for growth and expansion. It heals in a gentle way, and it is enough to wear or carry over the heart chakra. Sometimes for healing children or animals I like to encase and rub Rose Quartz pebbles within my hands and fingertips until the qualities are woken. With the combination of silent prayer and a constant flow of Cosmic Pink Light the spirit of the stone becomes increased and activated. At the same time intuition becomes sharper. The stone's energy vibrations seem to magnetize and transfer merging into an electric-like energy within the hands. When the merging of feelings occurs it is sent into the area of pain within the person or animal. There is no need to touch physically, but it will be seen how gently and beautifully this works. A wand-shaped crystal, large generator or massage crystal will bring positive results also. I have, in the past, seen healing brought about by Rose Quartz and Smoky Quartz pendulums swung, at different times, above affected bodily areas.
Rose Quartz is an ideal stone to place within a pet's basket or bed, as it will accentuate healing and love, and can be attached to an animal's collar for general health and care.
You will find if you touch a gem stone or crystal and caress it with your fingers that the light from your mind and body will awaken it. Within seconds it will appear more vibrant. Quartz positively glows. With Rose Quartz feelings of increased relaxation, peace and love occur. It is definitely a caring stone. Placing a large chunk of Rose Quartz within a room helps to soothe down any unpleasant or delinquent energies, especially if used in conjunction with Amethyst.They are often placed together in waiting rooms before healing sessions as they actually prepare the patient's mind and body, effecting a change of attitude and vibrations. Rose Quartz is a beautiful guardian to place near a cot or within a child's room. A wonderful caring stone for anyone to hold when having a moment to sit still. Place it within your hands while watching television or hold another favourite or needed stone. Rose Quartz is said to heal broken hearts, feelings of inadequacy, fears, phobias and promotes beautiful complexions. A stone perhaps we could all do with. It has an inner glow of peace and happiness, which it gradually transfers to it's wearer. The nearest words to it's vibrations are pure love and caring. It promotes harmony and helps to relate to beauty. A great supporter in trying times. Above all it encourages a better understanding and love between family members, and a kinder, gentler way of seeing the world in general.
AMETHYST
Amethyst, a member of the quartz family, is another extremely powerful healer. A third eye chakra stone, it connects very well in relationship to mind, thought and body. A stone of high ideals and creative inspiration. One of it's values is the function of activating that creative spark within us. Amethyst is sometimes called the Artist's Stone. It is especially beneficial to anyone artistically inclined. It seems to connect to a special world. Poets, painters, writers etc. will be drawn to it's mystical colours, mauves and purples. These crystals worn, carried or held in meditation, help to increase higher awareness, bringing contact with a natural inspirational order. Amethyst is called the Soul Stone as it reaches into the soul and becomes a connector to the higher realms that also reside within us. Within it's mauve and purple colour vibrations there exists a bridge between our minds and a deep magical flow of subtle impressions causing a different reality and awareness. It is one of the best stones used for meditational work, as it helps to forget oneself while reaching for a higher knowledge or state of being. A stone to take one beyond 'self', initiating an all-inspirational flow.
Amethyst on a physical level is a good general healer. By holding a small cluster in the left hand you will feel it's energies travel up through the arm into the whole body, energizing, healing and balancing. Bringing the body into harmony. A large cluster is particularly helpful in group healings. I often view it as the master-healer being activated by the group mind. It will regulate and balance all around, helping to negate uncomfortable discordancies within the patient's body and aura and also within the group's aura. It helps to change and regulate the part of us that is not in sympathy with another's aura, or energies that a stone, building or place will be vibrating. Our aura will often be touching and merging into another person's aura. In a way you could say we only see the core of ourselves. Like the inner core of a meteorite. Travelling within that core is another inner light, the fire or spark of energy that belongs to the universe. Outside that core is a mass of energy and different patterned light. In a picturesque way you could equate this with our aura. This outer self registers to our bodies and brains feelings that we call 'gut' feelings. When using crystals sometimes the human body is not in tune with the vibrations that a stone or group of stones gives out. In this case amethyst will tune you in. In the case of wearing a stone it may take a few days, but it is enough to carry a reasonable sized chunk (fist sized) to feel the difference.
Amethyst placed under a pillow at night will aid sleep, bringing about pleasant dreams, For children combine this with small pieces of tiger's-eye to prevent nightmares.
More than often amethyst will help during a time of grief or desperate need. It helps to replace a feeling of unhappiness with hope and understanding. It bridges the gap between this life and the further flow of life. It unifies the cosmic spirit within our own spirit. A stone for all kinds of illness. A stone of preparation. As well as curing 'hopeless' cases it also helps to teach the mind that death is transformation. Amethyst lends itself to those who suffer with cancer, and many cases of complete recovery have been reported aided by this stone. Amethyst is helpful for those people who have extreme outbursts of anger or passion. It has a good effect upon the physical system in all ways. Promoting clear-thinking, high ideals, unselfishness, artistic pursuits, meditation, general healing and balance, it prepares the subconscious for inner seeing. Creating an aura, like a shield, it protects us against others' manipulations. A stone that has many uses.
CITRINE
Citrine, again a member of the quartz family, has yellow or brown crystals. This brilliant stone works in a wonderfully refreshing way. On a spiritual level it actually helps to clear the aura. It also helps to protect the human body by closing-up the aura and at the same time bringing into it a light of exceptional quality. Physically it works on the mind and body activating memory and learning skills, helping to preserve facts. Citrine is ideal to wear if a student at school or college. It clears one's thoughts bringing into the mind a new sense of direction, encouraging and developing new beginnings. It works upon the crown, solar plexus and naval chakras, aiding and purifying the body systems. It is beneficial to wear in helping with liver and kidney problems, diabetes and epilepsy, as it has a controlling quality. It is sometimes useful to use a combination of crystals in healing, as the source of the complaint is usually removed from the area it is manifesting in. Occasionally it is connected to past lives and again certain crystals will work in these areas, rhodocrosite and malachite being two 'time-releasers'. Citrine is a good stimulator for the mind, logic and reasoning powers. Large citrine clusters have been called 'wishing stones', and for karmic reasons should be used unselfishly and positively. An energizing and comforting life-giving stone it acts as an attraction to all that is good. A magnetic light-force that can be used naturally and creatively on the physical level as well as the spiritual. Excellent in aiding bladder infections and digestion. It helps very sensitive people to relax in otherwise negative surroundings. Ideal for children and helpful in business, educational and personal matters it helps to expand the personality, especially for shy, introverted persons and is a stimulator for decision making and communication. An excellent crystal to place on a boardroom table during a meeting. With citrine, intuition, logic, organisation and ideas are all increased.
SUMMARY
Children will benefit greatly by these three stones. Intuitively they will be drawn to the stone most needed. Like other crystals Rose Quartz, Amethyst and Citrine will enhance the positive qualities needed within a person helping and aiding them through their karmic path. They are guides, friends and teachers that expand consciousness to understand that all living forms are one and the same. Crystals work on many levels. Often a combination of crystals will appear in a reading revealing the innermost needs of the person involved, showing how an illness or phobia can be self-healed. The crystals speak, and when wearing a crystal it will silently interact it's vibrations within your own vibrations. If you let your mind travel within your own special crystal you will find many worlds opening up to you. Whether Rose Quartz, Amethyst or Citrine calls, you will find their qualities both beautiful and helpful.
