    4 out of 5 stars 13 years, 13 tracks.   December 16, 2003

When I got this, I was expecting classic rock, but when I played it, I got much more of an 80's sound. But, that's not a bad thing, especially since I knew and enjoyed alot more than I thought I would on this cd. Besides the big hits here "Rosanna", "I'll Be Over You", and "Africa", this includes "Hold The Line", "Pamela", "99", and "I Won't Hold You back". The majority of this disc should be familiar to any radio listener. Plus, what's not so popular here, is still pretty good too. Overall, this collection might not be perfect, but it's still definitely better than "Super Hits".

3 out of 5 stars Poprock Album   December 3, 2003
    Reijo Piippula (Turku, Finland)
This has three classics: Hold the Line, Africa, and Rosanna. Other ones are quite good too but I don't like so much this kind of music. This is just poprock music. Pamela and Love Has the Power are quite good too. If you like Duran Duran, it doesn't mean you like this one too, but you might like this one!!!!

3 out of 5 stars PAST TO PRESENT?!? HMMM------   September 14, 2003
I like Toto, and I think they are the most fabulous rock band of all time. The only songs I like from greatest hits tape were, well just the classics. Toto was THE hottest band ever with either Bobby Kimball or Joseph Williams as lead singer. But Jean-Michael Byron? Man, please!! I just got thru reading couple of websites, and I realized why Toto made a big mistake of hiring Byron. 4 songs "Love Has The Power," "Out Of Love," "Animal," and "Can You Hear What I'm Saying" don't move me, baby. I read that both Byron and Toto didn't get along during tour. Plus he was trying to be the next Michael Jackson when he was moving on stage, embarrassing both Toto and the fans. I didn't see it, but if I did I would have laughed ... Now the classic songs, like "Africa," "Georgy Porgy," "Rosanna," "I'll Be Over You," and "Pamela" I can dig, but I didn't like those 4 songs with Byron. He was kicked out of band after tour in 1991, and Steve Lukather took double duties both as lead singer & guitarist. Thank God they brought Bobby Kimball back in band in 1998.
