This is my second purchase of Autosketch Software. I recently purchased version 9, and I had an earlier version (7?) as well. I have no other experience with CAD software other than the Autodesk products, thus the 3 star rating. I find autosketch a powerfull tool. It has a steep learning curve and it takes a while to master all the features. I am an Engineering Technologist by profession and have a fair amount of CAD experience. Autosketch will do most of the basic stuff that I need and I actually prefer it to Autocad for many small jobs.
My one complaint however is that it "locked up" on us, recently just prior to a project deadline and we had to finish the sketches by hand. It took us a while to figure out that we had to uninstall and re-install the software. To Autodesk's credit we were able to recover and continue using all files created by the "crashed" version.
