Amazon.ca Product Description The layout of PlayStation2's Dual Shock 2 controller is nearly identical to that of the original PlayStation's Dual Shock controller, which is good news for most gamers. The main new feature is that, when the buttons are pushed, the controller can register how much pressure is being exerted. This adds a completely new dimension to sports, racing, fighting, and more games. Aside from the Start and Select buttons, all of the functions are analog for greater control, a wider variety of operations, and a more compelling interactive experience. Two convex analog thumb pads and two force-feedback solenoid rumblers round out the features. This controller is also compatible with all software that supports the original Dual Shock controller.

Cant beat it June 6, 2004 P. Kim (Philadelphia) BUY SONY! This is the conclusion that I have finally reached after spending many years and many dollars with 3rd party controllers. I have finally relented to the fact that cheaper controllers are cheaper for a reason and that life is too short to be spent cursing your controllers maker. If your looking at other controllers that have only a few $'s in cheaperness dont waste your time and gaming enjoyment, buy Sony. The only problem that I've had with these are the rubber knobs breaking down. This happened to a controller I had for prob over 4 years. Not too worried about it
Dual Shock 2 Controller May 31, 2004 Adam (California) Of all the controllers to all the consoles out there, The PS2 dual shock was the easiest to get use to. Granted, It does have its flaws like all controllers do. It is awkward and some games make it even more awkward with the way they set up their controls. In the end it comes down to you taking the time to get use to it. I do like the length of the cord. I think it is just about perfect for the room my PS2 is in. It's not to much but not to little. I have four of these and I am happy to have purchased them.
THE BEST April 10, 2004 Kenzo Uzumaki (Lakewood, CA USA) Hands down DUAL SHOCK 2 is the best gaming controller ever! There is nothing that comes close to this. The X-Box controller is way to bulky and the Gamecube is way to... Well the gamecube controller is pretty good. The Dual Shock 2 has pressure sensitivity. Meaning when you press on the x/O/square/triange and hold. It will determine how fast you go in your game. For example pressing hard and holding hard on gran turismo will increase your speed!
