SUNSTONE & STARSTONE
Sunstone is a beautiful orange brown stone that sparkles and shines in a way that is captivating and nourishing like the sun. It has a glistening, metalic lustre and is warm to the touch. It qutckens the vibrations that exist between stone and man. Two of the countries in which it is found are Norway and India. It's sparkly appearance is due to minute pieces of hematite or mica contained within it's radiance. Red, orange, yellow and brown are the vibrational colours contained within this stone producing the overall effects of energy, confidence, learning abilities and commitment in chosen work. Sunstone’s man—made counterpart is called Goldstone. Also containing hematite and specks of mica, it has much the same vibrations as Sunstone, and like-wise, is beneficial to mankind. Goldstone is a glamorous stone, beautiful and glittery.
Sunstone is a natural gift from nature for it increases solar—channelling, reminding us of the connection that lies deep within our material bodies to the solar source, the central sun. The one light of our true beginnings. It fills the body with sun energy that helps to fulfil our work with willingness, energy and joy. Sunstone is a bridge of nature, a channeller that connects the sun with the world of gem stones. A twin connection of material and spiritual vibrations that persevere to make a good foundation and basis for our lives on earth. Sunstone seeks out the angel within us, thus subtly and openly speaking to forgotten vibrations. It has a feeling of success, a great releaser of positive energies that activate inner healing. A nurse and a nourisher, It moves the outer mind to allow the inner consciousness to work with nature. The warmth of it's energies radiate throughout the body activating each little cell. A message from the original creator. This stone carries the story of action and well—being. A sun—energy truly working upon and within earth and all its material forms. It helps to activate the positive side of a person’s nature, the sunny side, and seeks out and draws out the best from others. Joy in creating is one of it's messages. One of the outer manifestations of the inner sun. The story or pattern is in its descent to experience the finding and seeking of learning and wisdom. How we ourselves have descended to experience and seek out and of how, on earth, we must search much deeper than most forms of energy to learn through nature, as only we can in material form. Learning through nature, following the signposts and laws, and above all remembering. Past, present and future are held in the movement and energy of Sunstone. A small guiding light, not so much affecting the eyes but the centre of our bodies, a radiating consciousness.
Sunstone has another attribute. It may, at moments, act like a shield, for it allows time for gradual transformative qualities to emerge in the person carrying or wearing it. It urges the development of willpower which in turn brings success. A connector between sun and inner earth on all levels. Sunstone reinforces the powerful healing vibrations of nature. It touches the inner heart or centre of our bodies and worlds. A bringer of the ray of joy. A flow of pure natural energy.
Starstone is generally of the deepest brown or black in colour and like Sunstone is infused with masses of tiny shining specks. It is generally called Blue Goldstone. Equally beautiful and, Like Starstone, has delightful and beneficial qualities for mankind. The shimmers and sparkles within Starstone play upon the conscious and unconscious mind. This opens up the inner eye to view thouands of myriads of worlds that shine and beckon in the distance, which gradually and mystically merge within. Many colours and vibrations reach out from a backdrop of the deepest hues. Starstone mystically creates a good feeling, a stone instinctively felt to hold many wishes; reaching out to the starlike energies around us. Here is an eye to the universe, speaking and connecting to the higher stars while still in a state of groundness. Positive and negative energies stream through this stone to create a higher world balance. A stone of magical feelings and fairy energies, glittering, dancing and delighting the senses. Exquisite, finer vibrations are drawn to our earthlike existence and materialisation. A stone that ever allows and draws the eye to the unseen. An imprint message from our brothers and sisters.
Starstone is the nourisher of finer feelings and brings the consciousness to view the wonder of hidden worlds that no longer need be hidden. It connects the finest qualities of our vibrational frequencies to the base chakra, rising up and spiralling out to meet the energies that dance before us.
