These boots are really snug and comfortable. Didn't have problems with them at all. First day was a bit uncomfortable but no blisters. I work on my feet all day but the sole, being orthopedic, absorbs all the stress and keeps my feet and calf from pains. Great build, feels good, looks good as well. Buy it!

I ordered these boots from Cloggs a couple of weeks ago and they are by far the best boots I've ever bought. I'm glad I read the reviews here first as I also found them extremely tight to start with. After wearing them around the house with two pairs of socks for a few days they soon slackened off and are now really comfortable. If you find them agony to start with it really is worth bearing the pain - they're wicked!!

Having read other reviews I was uncertain about purchasing these boots as I have very wide feet but I decided to chance it as they were a very good price in the sale. I definitely do not regret it, they are the best purchase I've made in a long time. I usually take a while to break in to new boots but from the moment I put this pair on they were comfortable. They didn't give me a single blister. I have the black pair & love them so much I want to get the brown ones too but unfortunately they don't have any more in size 6. I would highly recommend buying these boots, you won't regret it.

I bought the bark ones last winter and loved them so much I bought them in red too. I wear them most days - for work, rest and play. I have massive, broad size 8 feet, and often "off the peg" 8s are too narrow, but these DMs fit really well, almost too big.

I originally ordered a pair in black for myself, upon trying them on my mum ordered the brown for herself.
Despite the black fitting fine, my mum found the same size in brown pair a bit tight round the ankle which was quickly rectified by me generously offering to wear them to work for the day with a pair of thick socks. As they're leather they stretch well. I like the snug fit as some boots fit like wellies - small calves and flat feet! I love the design, I'd been looking for a decent pair of leather boots for years.
I'd tried on the athena boots in a shop before but wasn't kean so was well surprised when these felt so different despite looking so similar.
