The Converse All-Star Low originates from the original basketball shoe of 1917 when it was endorsed by basketball legend Chuck Taylor. Our double tongue chuck is twice as tempting so go ahead: stick em out. Canvas upper with signature patch. Accent foxing stripe matches inner tongue. It's not very often that i'll rave about a pair of trainers, but this is the day!
I have had a pair of the high-tops for a while and recently bought these. I have the blue grad ones.
I have found them to be much more comfortable than their over-the-ankle counterparts and with less of a restriction on wearing the shoe around the ankle it makes the whole trainer much more free and easy to wear.
I have noticed and heard that they are very popular in Europe at the moment and as the fundamental design of the trainer hasn't changed remarkably since their inception, you know you're buying into something which won't lose fashion overnight.
The rubber soles which come up around the front and the sides of the trainer are perfect for avoiding a lot of the wear and tear which a lot of trainers recieve around the front and edges.
I would recommend getting a pair of these, they are wonderful!
