I love these sandals. The thick chunky sole with cushioning leather lining gives excellent support, especially to the arch and heel areas. They feel almost like wearing trainers, but in flip flop form. Great for walking long distances.
There are only a few slight minuses, which are not enough to reduce the star rating: 1) I have found the upper slightly stiff, but have only had these sandals a few days so will probably have to break into them, 2) the soles seem rather smooth, so may not grip that well on slippery surfaces e.g. cobblestone, but have not put this the test yet, 3) the light-coloured lining may become discoloured over time and 4) they are slightly heavier than most regular sandals I have worn.
Overall a great pair of sandals, especially at the bargain amazon price of 10 including p&p (I was fortunate to grab these in the recent sale). I anticipate getting a lot of wear out of these.
