Naz May 16, 2008 Naz (England) Amazon delivered the item after only 3 days via their free delivery. Typically good service from Amazon again. Instructions were'nt the best but still had it on my son's single bed within 10 minutes. It does the job and fits our purpose. Would have given it 5 stars if it were a bit taller and if it was a bit cheaper. All in all, very pleased.
tomy bed guard October 20, 2007 Mrs. Victoria Anne Iddon (Lancashire, England) I have this in pink for my daughter. It has kept her nicely in her bed for the last 2 years and now my sons cot is being turned into a cot bed im going to get him the blue one - so he can be like his big sis! My daughters bed is slatted and i havent had a problem with it fitting, i can remember it being frustrating to get it into place initially, but like i say, it has done a good job for the last 2 years...would recommend!!
Good product, not a totally accurate description August 15, 2006 C. F. Paxton (UK) 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
We bought this bed rail for my daughter's bed, and it is great. She has never fallen out of her bed, and the little mesh pocket is handy for keeping her drink of water and hanky in. Luckily we wanted the rail for a normal-sized single divan bed. This rail is not suitable for slatted beds or double beds.
This bed rail does NOT fit double beds! May 30, 2006 Ms. L. J. Mcalister (Manchester UK) 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
I bought this bedrail based on the first review where the customer advised that this would fit a double bed. Please be warned that it does not! The rail attaches by using curved poles which grip the edge of the mattress at the opposite side and the rails are not long enough to reach around a double mattress. It also states that it shouldn't be used on slatted beds which isn't clear from the description so all in all a waste of money!
Make sure you aren't buying this for a cot bed! April 26, 2006 M. G. Barker (uk) 32 out of 33 found this review helpful
Bought this lovely bed rail and it is a good durable rail which is no doubt ideal under a full sized single bed or double bed. We had bought this to stop our little one falling out of his cot bed now that I have removed the rail on one side. The instructions clearly state that your mattress needs to be about 20cm deep and that it is not suitable for a cot which wasn't clear on the item description. It basically works by your child's weight (and the mattress) holding it in place, so make sure they don't try to climb on it. The frame which is not attached or screwed into your cot, rests underneath the mattress and can be adjusted for different widths of mattress. Basically - a good idea but wish it was fixed more firmly and fitted smaller beds.
