Great Product! September 3, 2008 Mrs 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Our little girl LOVES Mr. Flutterbug! As you'll see from the image (if published) it fits onto her Moses basket - she hated sleeping flat on her back in it until the Flutterbug joined her. If it is ever remade, though, I'd like to ask that it includes a feature giving an option whereby the wings rotate without the sound, so that at night time she gradually falls asleep while watching him move rather than staying awake to sing and chat to him. She is happily wide awake, gurgling and squealing to him now as I type this!
Money well spent August 9, 2008 B. Timothy (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son is 3 months old now and I purchased this on a whim a few months ago. Since then there have been no more tears on the changing table. He is still captivated by this and now recognises the music - starts cooing and smiling - before I even get him onto the changing table. It makes the nappy changing experience so much easier and its great to see him so happy. I would highly recommend this as a great distraction for babies who hate having their nappy/clothing changed.
If you only get one toy, get this. January 15, 2008 Cil 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
When my baby was born, changing and top/tailing was a nightmare. He cried, I cried. Actually he screamed and I cried. THEN I got a flutterbug. The tune will imprint itself in your brain but it gives you something to focus on other than the screaming. In fact, the screaming stopped once the flutterbug arrived. It was so effective that I would lie him under the flutterbug during the endless hours of afternoon colic. Then once day..... he learnt how to use his hands and the flutterbug lost his wings.... Fortunately by that stage the colic was over and he could cope with just being sung to. If I got one toy and one toy only, I and all of my family would choose a flutterbug.
