Easy, secure, and safe September 22, 2008 Tolkein (UK) Found this very easy to assemble (typically didn't read the instructions!!), and does the job. My kids have taken to using this as part of an assault course, and it feels solid enough to withstand the abuse. So far so good!

My Son has a "Digger" bed from Next and most makes of Bed Guards do not fit to this bed due to it having raised wooden panels on the sides. The hinges on this Bed Guard do not protrude past the frame meaning it can sit flush against the bed frame, so it is more adaptable than most. Only criticism is the intructions are poor for the part relating to a strap that it contains which goes under the bed frame. It looks like you need to screw in a metal plate tot he bed frame, as there is a hole in the plate - and I cannot see how it would be of any use if it were not screwed in. But the instructions in no part mentioned you needing a screwdriver etc However I have not used this part as the Bed Guard is supported enough without this on the bed we have.
