I so looked forward to reading this book, but was disappointed. It is not so much inside Wellington's army as a number of essays on a few points. It does not descibe how the army was organised, how it's logistics worked, how the medical serices were organised, how the army was organised or what life was like for the soldiers and their followers. None of these points were covered.The style of writing for some chapters is very stuffy.
