As usual when you buy a phone (except for a few) it comes with a really poor quality handsfree set. This bargain product provides you with reasonable headphones and also the option to plug in any of your own standard headfones, turning your phone into a quality mp3 player. It also is a radio reciever and a hands free, what more would you want?
One word of warning the cable for the part up to the headphone jack is long.

THE88 SONY ERICSSON HPM-70 -BLACK
These are excellent value for money and provide the expected high quality sound reproduction. (See also other reviews for the same product listed as HPM-70 headphones.) These are a better alternative to the ones provided with a new phone as they stay in place in the ears. Since the earpieces detach from the Sony-Ericsson phone plug and microphone via a standard 3.5mm stereo plug, they provide, on their own, a much cheaper replacement for personal audio headsets (e.g. Walkman) that cost up to 20.

i really expected more from these headphones being a sony product. the bass is barely there and the treble isnt great, i tried all the different sized ear pieces that came with it but they just sound tinny. they were cheap but im still disappointed. i had a pair of sony fontopia headphones for a long time that looked similar in style to these and they were amazing so i expected the same from these. for the price their still a bargain but i guess i was just expecting more than i got.
