Great price from amazon at 30% to 40% below rrp.
These are really good binoculars. I wasn't sure about spending so much, but it really is worth it. The roof prism system makes the binoculars small for an impressive 8x42 size, and 8x is just right (Any more and shake becomes a real problem)
Very bright image and with an exit pupil size of over 5mm means they are very easy to use and suitable for low light conditions.

These binoculars are particulary good for prescription glasses wearers as no rubber surround needs folding back like on other models.
Tough rubber finish, and being waterproof means they are also dust/sand proof.
Hopefully they'll last for years.
