fits S5800 too September 3, 2008 ld (UK) In case you're wondering, this fits the S5800 too, just check the dimensions in the specs, they're identical. Only annoyance (and this is really minor) is that it comes with its own strap while the camera already has one, and they could have designed the case with that in mind.
not the best August 28, 2008 foxcylady I purchased this case for my S5800 while I do agree with everyone about snug fit etc etc etc, is it just me or does anyone else get really annoyed about dragging your camera out via the lens and screen. In my opinion the camera should fit the other way round. I have tried to put it in the other way so that your using the hand grip but it doesnt fit. Wouldnt recommend really at all
Snug Fit August 16, 2008 J. Mitchell (London England) Echoing Tim Davies comment. The camera is a snug fit in the case. it took me a few minutes to figure it out (battery end first and you have to fold the strap neatly and feed it down either beside the lens or behind the viewfinder). Personally I'd have liked a little bit more room, but it works and there's room for 4xAA and a couple of memory cards in the side pocket. All in all it does exactly what it's meant to and is a good price.
Fuji finepix S5700/5800 case July 29, 2008 D. I. Walters The camera does fit in the case but it is not a practical design in use. The camera fits on its side with the lens uppermost which makes it awkward to get in and out. It also has no belt loop so you end up with 2 straps round your neck (the camera and the case). The case is OK if you are just using it to store the camera and use it infrequently, but if you are using the camera frequently (eg when you are on holiday) constantly taking the camera out of the case and putting it back, it is frustrating. After a couple of days I finished up buying a different case, slightly bigger where the camera sits upright. This was much much better.
NOT RECOMMENDED June 26, 2008 Bookworm (England) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I regret buying this case as it is too small for the actual camera and you have terrible problems fighting to get the camera and its strap in and out. The case has its own strap. A better design would lay the camera across, rather than have to put it in on its side and would make use of the camera strap. Everytime you take the camera out, you are left with the problem of trying to hold the case.
