Excellent value for money Monopod......... A must.... August 19, 2008 D. K. Cain (Cramlington, Northumberland. UK.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although I own a tripod to use with my Canon 400D, it is necessary to sometimes rely on a Monopod. This monopod by Hama( of which i have the Hama tripod) is very good value for money. Very lightweight, extends from 40cm to 141cm in five sections. Well padded foam handle and additional carry strap. This monopod will steady your camera to prevent camera shake. The only thing I would say is that if you want to purchase a Monopod to double up as a walking pole, then this one would not fit the bill. Under pressure it would bend when using as a walking aid. But saying that, for what I wanted it for, it is excellent value for money.
The essential accessory November 14, 2007 Fatboy (Left Field, Surrey, United Kingdom) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
No matter how basic your camera, this wonderful device will improve your technique 100%. Forget fancy image stabilization this beats it hands down. Even if you can only start to appreciate how infinitely superior available light is to flash, you will absolutely love this thing. It's beautifully made and the adjustable head lets you take pictures in landscape or portrait mode. The only downside is that you'll spend the next six months telling your pals where they can get one. Proceed to checkout now.
