Great bag, great price May 22, 2008 C. Thorne 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I bought this bag but was unsure if it would be suitable for all my gear: 40D 100-400L with hood 24-70L with hood 10-20 Siggy with hood. Cables, charger, spare batteries, memory cards etc etc. I received the bag today and am please to say the gear fits in perfectly. Very snug, but not cramped, and very well protected. The method for twisting the bag round to access the camera works brilliantly. I'm very pleased indeed. I'd recommend this to anyone considering a new backpack.
Tight compact DSLR and lens bag. March 25, 2008 SJR Fawcett (London) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This seems to be the biggest in the range and tha was why i bought it. Its for my EOS400, and 3 (currently) Lenses, Wide 10-20mm, 17-85mm, and 70-300mm. It takes all these OK - just. I think i've still got room for the 60mm prime i want. It also takes my Sigma EF super Flash . With all this in its rather tight and feels secure. The Zips seem a little tight and hopefully will soon wear in not out. Access to the bottom of the bag is also tight. 2 Budget Telephoto lenses is probally the limit. The side pouch is really quite small. the Tripod holder may need extra straps to secure it if on a rough walk. Still i now have most of my gear on one place now. I'd also be interested in a flipside 400 if they start making one.
