Doesn't actually fit the Optoma HD70. August 3, 2008

I purchased one of these mounts from this very Amazon product page. The mount arrived speedily, but didn't actually fit an Optoma HD70. There were some screws that fit into the mounting holes on the projector, but were much too long and couldn't be tightened up.
The general quality of the mount was not very good. The adjustment mechanism is based upon bolts being locked into one piece of steel, and being free to turn in another. However, the bolts that I received had been made with the square skirt (which stops them moving in the first bit of steel) too long. This skirt then prevented the second piece of steel from rotating as designed.
I ended up returning the mount for a refund, which appears to have been processed speedily.
