Advanced Features:Fast 20MB/sec sequential Read/Write speedsIdeal for demanding photo shoots under severe weather conditions ? heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, etcDurable, reliable and thoroughly tested for heat, cold, shock and vibrationClass 6 speed performance rating ( based on SD 2.0 specifications)RescuePRO data recovery software - ensures your photos will always be thereDedicated technical support hotline 1-866-270-5532 ( U.S. only)SanDisk's lifetime limited warranty (EMEA: 10 year limited warranty)What is SDHC?To support the higher capacity needs, SD cards are now requiring a different design. The new SD 2.0 specifications which supports 4GB and up, is called Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC). The SD Association has created and defined 3 speed classes to help you identify speed and performance capabilities/minimum requirements of SDHC cards and their SDHC host products.Cards address data (read and write) at numerous speeds. Many factors impede this performance. SDHC guarantees a minimum read and write speed necessary to handle recording high quality video and audio. The maximum card speed may vary, but you can always depend on SDHC cards to meet your SDHC host product's high quality performance requirements.

I've just decided to try out my new memory card in my camera but it doesn't work, giving a message' memory card locked'. I've tryed several times but it just won't work. Worst bit is I threw out the packaging before checking it so can't even return.

    for 23.00 in March 08,

Complete with card reader, rescue disc, a dinky little bag and awsome tranfer speed.
10 yr guarantee on the card 2 years on the reader.
I can now take over 800 10mp pictures. Two or three of these and I could safari the world with my eye glued to the viewfinder all the way.

I saw the same one last week on the high street for 99. (Curry's digital)

Very impressed with this card. Comes with the sdhc usb reader, a small neoprene travel case and disk to recover lost photos!! Disk seems to work fine with Vista, although i have only tried this quickly!!
Delivery from Amazon was also great. Put this on free delivery and had in my camera within 48hrs!!

I recently bought the Sandisk Extreme III SD 4GB Card through Amazon for 22.98 (including postage). Reviewer A Butterfield is spot on in all of his/her comments about this card. I cannot understand why some of the other reviewers mark this card down because they feel ill done to by a trader or because the supplied cd disc is too small, those facts do not detract from the card itself. The Sandisk Extreme III SD 4GB card is definitely a 5 star card.

5 out of 5 stars Fast, reliable, cheap and includes a card reader   March 5, 2008

The nice thing about this is that you not only get the SDHC card, but also a Sandisk Micromate SD and SDHC card reader, which is basically a USB plug with a slot for the card. This was useful for me because my card reader doesn't read SDHC.
You also get a (tiny) CD with software that will recover files you've deleted but not overwritten, so this gives you a bit of a safety net.
It's a fast class 6 card, so if you're using it with a camera that shoots in RAW, it'll help speed things up compared to a standard SD card.
All this and 4GB for this price... you can't go wrong I guess. Just watch the P+P.
