A camera for novices! March 12, 2005

This was my first foray into the world of digital photography. I thought I had better catch up with the rest of the world! It's great! Being able to preview your photos, and delete the "failures" saves so much money, and it's so simple, as it tells you on screen what to do.I don't know what I did without mine now, and I would never go back to an ordinary camera. The only thing I have to get used to is the quick drain on batteries, so am going to invest in a battery charger with rechargeable batteries.I would recommend this to anyone just starting out - if I can master it, anyone can!

This camera is great to use. It's simple, compact and came with comprehensible instructions. The only thing wrong was that the camera could not store many pictures. You could just upload the pictures onto your computer every time you take more than 20 pictures, but if you're on holiday, or away from your computer, the only other option is to buy another memory card.
Don't be put off though. If you don't mind this extra expense then it is a great camera, especially for begginers.

I think this camera is fantasic value, the picture quality is very good, the use of the camera is simple and the easyshare software is very easy to use. Within 20 mins I was taking pictures and storing them onto my PC, its that simple. Definately think this is a great first time digital camera.

This camera is one of the best purchases I have ever made! It is absolutely simple to use and the quality of pictures it takes are as good as i've seen. The software you get with the camera is also top notch and again unbelievably easy to use. You also get a 10 free photo's from Kodaks online photo service when you register your camera and in my opinion this is the best way to get your pictures printed. Printing at home is far more expensive and not as good as the results you can get from the numerous online photo companies - the one I use only charges 12p per 6x4 inch print. This camera is one to buy for sure!

Ive never really been into photography, untill now. I picked up this camera in the US. Its so easy to use, ive had a play around with other digital cameras owned by friends, this is far one of the best for beginners. Ive just ordered a memory card so i can store more than 16 pictures/video. Its bye bye to the local photo shop and hello to photos at home.
