The first reviewer wrote that he had difficulty getting replacement parts. I took his advice and checked for parts (in particular the belt. I tried a good supplier who could not find a replacement belt.
I purchased another make instead with plenty of parts available.
Buyer be really aware with this product

While this worked it actually did quite a good job, even though it was VERY noisy.
The belt failed after 3 months and DirtDevil in the UK (also known as Pulse Home Products Ltd on 0870 873 0081) are not able to supply a replacement. There advice is to return it to the supplier and get my money back.
None of the other online parts suppliers are able to provide a belt either (as they do not recognize the model number).
My advice has to be to avoid this vacuum cleaner and save yourself time and money!
