Great addition for an exisiting set February 2, 2008

I bought this knife to add to my 5 knife set. It's great, and sees much more use than the GS-38 paring knife now. As the description indicates, it's perfect for peeling, and keeps it's edge far longer than any other non 'Global' knives i've owned.

Bought a set of 6 last year and wanted a small peeling knife to complete the set. Worth every penny, every Global knife is RAZOR sharp and stays that way. A great little knife.

Global knives are the best you can get - there is no question - the price is worth the sheer quality of the workmanship. If you are thinking of buying kitchen equipment for work or home then global just have to be the first choice. I have never come across such amazing knifes that stay so sharp.
