I must start this review with the statement - I love my Satinliners!
The Braun Satinliner Hair Straighteners live up to everything Braun promise. My hair has been nothing but sleek, frizz free and beautiful since the day I started using them. I've found with other straighteners in the past that my hair became frizzy after a couple of hours. But that's not the case with the Satinliners - as they reduce frizz and static.
The Braun Satinliner Hair Straighteners have floating plates with NanoGlide so no snagged ends. I'm also a fan of the flexible choice of heat settings - as I have some hair days worse than others, this is useful, as I don't want to over heat my hair if I don't need to.
What I found handy was the heat-up time being only 30 seconds, no more putting your straighteners on to heat whilst you have a shower. They also have a cool tip - so you don't burn yourself.
The Satinliner's Satin Ion technology works wonders on my hair leaving it very smooth and shiney. They are nice and light and easily portable, I don't go anywhere without them now.--Danielle Smith, Amazon.co.uk

I've always had problems using straighteners, but these were really easy to use. I was amazed at the results I achieved, it looked nearly as good when the hairdresser styled my hair, which is amazing for me! I think this product is brilliant. Didn't cost a fortune. I would recommend these to anyone.

My hair used to be the bane of my life, I hated it, it was coarse, fine and though I used to blow dry it straight as soon as I got outside it went horribly frizzy - yuck! Not anymore, I bought these after looking at various reviews and thought ok lets give these ago, half thinking they wouldn't work, but as soon as I got them and tried them I was amazed with the result! Wow, not only was it beatifully straight but it lasted all day long. Hooray!! The next day when I got up in the morning it was still straight. Now I wouldn't go without them. I can't recommend these highly enough. Do yourself, your hair and image a favour and buy them!

I decided to look for new straightners as my ghd's (which I've had for about 2 years now) were really starting to make my hair smell like it had been set on fire!
I thought of getting the new version ghd's but just couldn't afford it at the time.
After doing a bit of research (and reading other reviews) it made sense that a temperature variable straightner was the way to go, having fine light coloured hair, and avoiding the scorched smell on my hair.
So far so good- I have kept it on the reccommended temperature for my hair type and the results have been satisfactory.
The product design isn't quite as good a ghd, as the buttons which control the temperature can easily be pushed by mistake whilst styling but a bit of practice helps avoid this minor issue. All round- it's a quality product and worth the money.

I have really thick coarse hair which kinks all over the place and I have kept it short for years because of this but lately I have managed to grow it to shoulder length and it's all down to my new straighteners. I read loads of reviews on many different brands of straighteners before I bought them, and I am so glad I chose my Braun Satinliners. I now have sleek, straight shiny hair that doesn't frizz and lasts all day long. It just doesn't look like my hair, the results are so fantastic. I can get my hair just as straight and sleek as my hairdresser, in fact, the first time I used them, my daughter asked me if I'd been to the hairdressers.
I am absolutely over the moon with these and highly recommend them to others. Why spend a fortune on GHDs when you can have sleek gorgeous hair for a fraction of the price?

I brought theses for my mum as she has very course afro-ish hair. Its bad enough that you can never get your hair as straight as the hairdresser does it...right? well my mum is very happy that she can almost get that look by herself and the ion shine helps smooth her hair without having to fry the hair keep straightning the same strand.For me it stops the static build up i get, For once something that works!
