Every so often you happen upon a little invention that answers a problem that's been nagging at you for awhile...and here's one of them. After years of annoying my wife yanking hairs out of my schnoz whilst watching TV, this far less intrusive or painful item has quashed that practice wholesale! This device is no bigger than your little finger. The twisting action is unusual but only takes a minute or two to master and because the blades aren't exposed, there's no way for it to cut or otherwise injure the sensitive area inside your nose/ear, in-fact you can be quite gregarious with it, without fear. In about 5 minutes I had completely cleared both nostrils and ears, as well as mastering its operation one handed! The Trimmer leaves a very acceptable stubble and is easy to clean. No batteries, so no annoying buzzing or ill-timed power failures and it's so small it takes up virtually no space in the cupboard or your travel wash bag. Brilliant!

Mine arrived in the post this morning. I've had a battery trimmer sitting in the bathroom cupboard for ages, unused because it's pretty useless. But I thought I'd give this one a go because of the rave reviews. Well, here's another! Couldn't believe how quick and easy it was to use. I was a tad worried about it fitting up my nostrils, but it's really quite small and it was no problem. My other worry was it snatching hairs, as reported by a couple of users. Again, no problem. I think the trick here is to twist the cutters quickly so they don't have a chance to snatch. I'm not totally convinced about its ability to deal with ear hairs but my nose is now as clean as a whistle. Highly recommended.

I needed a new trimmer as my old one packed up. So I decided to go for this, it looked neat and from the comments it seemed to do the job. My experience is that it's not bad but not great. I have had it pull hairs which we all know can hurt and it can be quite fiddly.
Overall not bad as a second but I'm still in the market for one that will work better.

Like other reviewers I found my electric trimmer never quite did the job, especially against the thicker (white) nasal hairs - They would often fray or snag in the trimmer (ouch).
This one though... carried out its intended task within seconds of me opening the packaging! If fact it took me longer to open the packaging...
Having used the trimmer a couple of times I've found upon removing the trimmer from your nostril, make sure you keep twisting it, otherwise - like me you'll suffer the perils of yanking on hair stuck midway between the cutters...
Even with that it's brilliant! I've just bought another two as gifts.
Remember - KEEP TWISTING :)

I gotta say at first I thought this little thing was a waste of money, it just didn't seem to work! But then I realised it was because I was using it wrong..Anyway its brilliant! I didnt think it would be able to cut close but it does. Just as close an any electric one but it doesn't pull at all. I havent had any pain whatsoever using this. Plus unlike electic ones, this is tiny and looks great as well. The only small downside is the clear case it's stored in..it could just be mine, but the black 'stopper' easily comes out and is not secure at all.
Overall though, one of the best gadgets you can buy.
