I've had a George Foreman for some years and have always enjoyed excellent results but found the cleaning a real pain so I thought this replacement would be the answer but sadly not...........and not by a long way. I've used this for a few months now and have had one to many anaemic steaks. in fact I'd go as far to say it doesn't grill...it steams. One for the bin I'm afraid. I'll go back to a George Forman with fixed plates and put up with cleaning them by hand.

Have had a few Foreman Grills and have to say no probs with any. This however is the grill of all grills, love it and so easily cleaned. Ta very much chuck.

I resisted getting one of these Foreman grills as I thought they were just a gimmick but seeing the reviews for this one and the removable plates I resisted no longer - and I'm so glad to get this one. The removable plates really are wonderful and nothing could be easier to clean especially in a dishwasher. Food cooks beautifully - especially really thick burgers - and we will use this instead of the barbecue in future. Chicken breasts, bacon etc etc cook really well all the way though without over scorching the surface and really quickly too. We're going to try pork on it tomorrow. When shopping I now look for food I can cook in it as it's such a joy to use!

Having 'killed' our previous George, the task of finding a replacement was daunting as there are so many variations on a George!! This one falls into the 'Ronseal' category - it does what it says on the tin!! Just make sure that the grillplates are clipped in. The facility to wash the grill plates is priceless. Buy one now - you won't be disappointed.

Have now had chance to use it and it really is great. Cooks food really well, even pork ive cooked was tender. There are a few gripes about it so far but they do not detract from the fact that it cooks well. firstly the grill plates are not a tight fit and are a little bit wobbly. i assume this is a design flaw and of course allows you to easily remove and re attach the plates. However it means that the grill plate is hotter in some area than others. Still over all it cooks well. Thanks.
