Clipso brilliance February 19, 2007 Mr. J. Couper-johnston (MAIDENHEAD, Berks United Kingdom) 40 out of 40 found this review helpful
I've had a pressure cooker for decades and finally the ball bearings (yes, really!) fell out of the closing mechanism after the bakelite handle fractured. Yes, it really was that old!! I didn't want a great big bulky thing to replace it, and the design of the Clipso appealed with its neat handles and simple closing mechanism. How often does something work as well as it looks? In this case it does: it's brilliant. It's easy to hold, simple to use and effective. Soups have never tasted so good! Pay attention to the cleaning instructions before you put it in the dishwasher and look after the seal. I reckon this one will last longer than me and I'm not giving up soon!!

I was given a pressure cooker when i got married nearly 18 years ago, and that lasted until this year when i decided to treat myself to a new one - the Tefal Clipso. It is so easy to use- and easy to make a meal for all the family - and one you know is going to be healthier for all. Lovely veg, stews, meat, and am going to try out some new recipes as i get used to it. So quick too! Very well recommended.
this is so easy to use! September 9, 2005 98 out of 102 found this review helpful
I admit it - I was bullied into buying a pressure cooker but I love this one! The lid fits on really easily, and I like that you don't have to swivel the lid to lock it, just press the button on top.the instruction booklet I got was very useful, with quite a few recipies. I like that you can cook low fat dishes in a very short time and they taste like you have been cooking all day ;o)
