| Customer Reviews:
In Hindsight, not really worth it. October 16, 2008 Adetola Onasanya (London, England) I was quite excited at the prospect of a 31 piece kitchen set, and as I eagerly ripped open the packaging, I realised what a dire mistake I had made. At first, I had to set up the pots and wok, bolting the handles to the material, without any instructions, and I still, after over a week have no clue how to keep the wok's handle still. The cutlery are of standard quality, the nylon turner//spoon//masher are pretty basic and the scissors are extremely useful, but these are just about the only good aspects of the whole set. The material used in the creation of the pots//pan//wok feels EXTREMELY cheap. I'm not disreguarding its uses, but sometimes I feel that the items will not survive a long in a kitchen, or rather; survive in the hands of a student. Take for example the lack of a NON-STICK coating that saves many a dishes, or rather; the day, I decided to par-grill a meal, only to find out the handle on the pan was pretty much made from plastic, and now it seems I only have a 30 piece set. I do condone the use of a glass lid on the pot, and the huge size of the wok allows me to cook without much fear of spillage. The wooden spoon comes in handy, although I think the chopping board is barely keeping up with the strain of the chopping two onions. Overall, the lack of instructions and the quality of the main items, pots and pans in particular, seem to have undermined the huge potential of the product, but then again, every time I see those scissors, I smile. (:
