amazing frying pan! November 29, 2008

I am a student and I needed something that would last me longer than my original burned 99p aluminium frying pan. I got a present from my uncle jonny, he bought me the book 'cooking for blokes' and in that book in mentions that cast iron is the BEST type of pan, despite it's heavyness. The quality of this pan is amazing! and actually well worth the money, plus I liked the colour. lets get to cooking: I have made the best bacon, best egg, omlettes, fried vegetables, fish, steak, chicken fillets ect that I have ever tasted!!! it cooks the food without burning anything, in fact it's almost impossible to get it to burn food. It cooks extremley evenly, and it's large size is perfect for a nice fry up, plus it's extremley sturdy and almost 'american military' like quality. You can use the pan with or without oil/butter, depending on your taste, and believe me these pans are made to last forever! so get one and enjoy a better quality of life that will last you longer meanin less pennies in the long run, and when you are a student or anyone with a brain cell on planet earth this must be seen an investment! (these are a lot better than teflon pans)
