Don't be misled by the photo! My wife has just ordered this item for our daughters birthday and was expecting to be able to sit her birthday cake on top of the rather stylish cake stand. When the parcel arrived however, we were slightly disappointed to open the box to find a cake stand that is about 6" in diameter! It will comfortably hold a fairy cake but that is about all.
