Absolutely LOVE it October 15, 2008 M. Banfield (UK) I absolutely love the kenwood wizzard, I bought it about 4 months ago after breaking my old braun one (it fell out of the top cupboard & shattered on the floor!) I use the wizzard daily to make home-made baby food, I have been using the blender section for smooth purees and have now progressed onto the chopper attachment to introduce texture to the baby food. I cant comment on the whisk element as not had cause to use this yet. Would definately reccommend to anyone.
Splash (redecorate you kitchen)!!!!! August 28, 2008 Cookie (UK) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my daughter, who has taken up cooking with great gusto...as she misses her Mums home cooking, bless her....Well, this product splashed everywhere! She was blending berries in the chopper compartment (as I can with my Braun) as she and the kitchen was covered with red juice!.....so don't bye this one!!!
Do not buy-it will break! July 31, 2008 Bootsy (London UK) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was initially very pleased with this, and used it a few times a week over 4 months. Until the day that the middle attachment that connects to motor unit to the chopping blades stopped making a connection, so the blades did not turn and I could not use as a blender. I should add that the other attachments worked fine. So I went to one of the Kenwood shops to have it repaired/replaced. It came back 2 weeks later, I was told it was a brand new unit (all the packaging etc proved that it was). And the same thing happened after 1 go at making hummus. So if it was brand new then the fault developed immediately, and if it wasn't then the repair was shoddy. Either way, you can be sure that this won't last, and good luck once you've gone beyond your 1 year guarantee. This does not seem to be an isolated problem, look at both reviews for the 665-it seems too common an occurence surely?
rust July 28, 2008 Mrs Smith (South West, England) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Would not buy this product again. After only very occasional use I have found that the lid of the chopper attachment has become rusty. I have always drained the item well after it has been washed and left it to dry completely before putting it back into the box. However, each time I now try to puree food for my six month old daughter it results in rusty particles dripping down from the centre of the lid. I had been relatively pleased with the product up until that point, but it now means it is not safe to use. If you are unable to wash the product without rust forming then it is unfit for purpose.
Nice, but a bit small May 28, 2008 Mr. R. A. Seffen (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a useful product which I use daily for chopping veg and blending smoothies. It's certainly value for money. My only gripe is that the chopping bowl is a bit too small, and you have to use that one because of the way the attachment fits into it. Even when just chopping some veg for myself - a carrot, 2 sticks of celery, half a pepper, some broccoli and a bit of cucumber, I have to divide it into two lots, because if you fill it more than half it won't chop properly.
