    Product Description
Simply attach this product to your garden hose and the venturi effect created by the water pressure will suck up the dirt and debris from the bottom of your pond in minutes. The dirt collects in a re-usable muslin bag, allowing clean water to pass through. Comes complete with a lightweight telescopic handle (expandable to three feet) 3 year guarantee.

A waste of money! I should have known better when I thought I'd save cash on hiring a proper pond vacuum from my local aquatics shop and go for this much cheaper option instead!

Awkard to manoeuvre, cumbersome, messy, and although it does pick up silt to a certain extent, the bother and mess is just too much. I suppose it might be acceptable if the bottom of your pond was completely uncluttered by lily baskets etc and was faily shallow, but otherwise this is one "British invention" you are best avoiding.
