An impressive alternative to the Bosch AXT2200HP. It's a heavy, well built machine and quite awkward to move around, but stable and very quiet in operation. It pulls in everything that will fit into the intake - I fed in some massive branches, with side shoots and crowns and it ate the lot. It shredded ivy, clematis, bindweed and loads of other green stuff that my old (German built...) machine with 'normal' blades simply couldn't cope with. In over four hours of continual operation the GS2200 only jammed once and then immediately cleared itself to carry on straight away. You get a bag with it that folds flat when not in use. Only downside is that the 'feed cup' isn't very deep, so it's a bit awkward when trying to pour smaller stuff in, but that's a minor gripe. Highly recommended bit of kit and will pay for itself fast as I won't need to but bags of bark chips for mulching anymore :)
