It's Photoshop, The industry standard image software. Need i say more? June 27, 2008 Bassiks (Scotland) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Simply put, People don't say a photo has been edited any more, They say it has been photoshopped, I've been using photoshop since version 7 and I have to say CS2 is my favourite version by far, Not too keen on the new-ish CS3 as it seems more gimmicky and the GUI has been messed around with which is a bit annoying considering they cracked it with CS2. It really depends what you want to do as far as buying this package goes, If all you want is to fix some images, Remove red eye, Crop, Fix color balance etc. then you would only really need Photoshop Elements or Adobe Lightroom, But if you want to be able to go anywhere your creativity takes you then This full version is essential, As for learning photoshop just search "Photoshop Tutorials" and do a few of the millions of tutorials online.
question about photoshop December 5, 2007 Ms. Amy L. Shepherd Hi, im looking at buying the photoshop cs2 software, does anybody know if this is ok for importing on windows vista??? i have only been using this for around a month, since starting university, but i need it for home use.

Everyone thought when they reaslesed photoshop 7 that was the end of the line. "Surely they can't upgrade any more?" people were thinking. They did more then upgrade, they produced a software which made its competitors look like paint. Utterly Awesome.
Powerful, useful February 24, 2006 33 out of 36 found this review helpful
This has been great. I 've had it CS2 for two months now and it does far more than i realised to begin with and has become more intuitive every time i use it.From simply cropping and tidying pictures to remaking them entirely it does the job much better than any other editing software i have used (admittedly it wasn't so expensive!) I do still find new ways of using the features and there's a lot i've not used, or needed to use, yet. Very powerful, not necessary if you only want to sort out holiday snaps. Be warned because it's addictive and may lead to other purchases - graphics pad, monitor, illustrators etc... but very worthwhile and loads of fun.
Adobe Photoshop CS2 December 29, 2005 Mr T E Daley 44 out of 50 found this review helpful
As a photographer i have found this software incredably useful. It may be expensive but its worth every penny! The filters are very effective and realistic and the tools are extremely useful. I would recommend this product to anyone who deals with design/photography job. BUT i would not recommend it to novices on computers/photography software.
