Little bit of sliding August 11, 2008 monkeyreview (uk) I've not used the mat much but the few times I have uded it I found my feet sliding, some times I just revert to using the floor. Possibly with extra use my feet won't slide too much.
Very satisfactory June 5, 2008 Iain Speed I've owned a few yoga mats, and this is one of the best. Gives good grip, but can get a bit slippy if you get (too) sweaty, but the situation improves as it's used and I've certainly had mats that were worse for this. When doing yoga it's best to keep a towel nearby, anyway, for sorting out excess sweat. Good value at the price.
Very slippy! May 17, 2008 V. Birchall (UK) I agree with the last review, the surface of the mat is terrible; very slippy. You can't concentrate on your positions as you expect to fall over at any moment! I'll give this mat a few more chances but at this rate I'll end up back with the one I bought from Boots for a fiver.
Gaiam Yoga Mats April 14, 2008 R. Swaine (UK) While not the best mats on the market, for the price I think they are a good buy. I found the grip improved after a bit of use and I order them for my yoga students (kids) as they are inexpensive and do the job. Serious students can then go on and buy a more expensive mat in the future if they want to.
Slippery! April 13, 2008 A. Thomas (Wales, UK) I have to disagree with the previous reviewer - for me this mat has no grip whatsoever - it has a slippery surface which makes downward dog almost impossible. Not great for a yoga mat!
