Had this toy for close to a year now and it's stood the test of time in the hands of a 4 year old boy. Don't know what kind of battery it has but it seems to be going strong and the watch is very sturdy taking loads of whacks. It makes the noise when Ben morphs into a monster and has a spinny dial to choose the monsters.
FANTASTIC!!! January 4, 2008 Sam 8 out of 10 found this review helpful
I just got this for my Ben 10 collection and it was brilliant and is just like the one in the TV programme. Only one complaint...it's really loose on second from tightest strap, because when you strap it on the tightest it seems to refuse that and it takes about 5 mins to actually put it on a 10 year old...

I tend to agree with the 2 previous comments, expensive for what it does from an adult point of view, 2 lights green and red and a few sound fx. My son loves it.

My son has had his omnitrix for 6 months now, and it has had almost daily use. It is still in excellent condition. It is very like the omnitrix in the series, and has encouraged a lot of imaginative play between him and his friends. Although pricey it is well made, and he has certainly got the value from it.

The omnitrix is greatly over priced for what you actually get. I apreciate all childrens toys are overpriced on the whole, but this is very little more than a cheap plastic strap and bezel which turns and a red and green light. Under 9's will think it's great and it will undoubtably stimulate their imagination, but my honest opinion is that it should be no more than a fiver and even at that price it would be making the manufacturer an enormous profit.
