Great light-weight suitcase August 13, 2008

Took this suitcase on trip a week after purchasing it. Hard to believe how much lighter than my old suitcase this suitcase is. Seems very well constructed. Holds as much as any other suitcase of this size that we have owned. I look forward to using it for years to come.

I got a great deal on this suitecase ($175 with free shipping and no sales tax). I stuffed this suitcase to its MAX with clothes, hardback children's books, shoes and other items and it weighed 40 lbs. Maximum weight for domestic flying is 50lbs. I think I will get the next size up for my next travels so I can maximize on the amount I can take with me. I could have use a little more space to bring a few more things.

We just finished a 15 day excursion through Europe and carried 3 of the Hovercraft 25's for 3 adults. They performed flawlessly. They did not show any signs of wear and tear form the airline baggage handlers. They were easily to carry and their light weight allowed us to pack more clothing. I would like to see some "side" pockets on the inside, but that is my only complaint.

I've only just returned from my first trip with this bag, but so far, I love it. I'm looking forward to purchasing the 22" for shorter trips. It's so easy to pack with the Eagle Creek cubes and all of the hardware (zippers, handle, wheels) move smoothly and easily.
