Product Description The Smilestones Kick & Play Peek-a-Boo Piano packs developmental play into and fun, contemporary, colorful design. Watch the soft birdie come alive when your baby kicks the black and white piano keys. A dangling rattle, crinkly feet and eye-catching colors further encourage interactive play. The birdie's peek-a-boo action can be activated in any of three modes: parent-activated long-play mode, featuring 5 songs that play for 10 minutes; baby-activated "build-a-song" mode, allowing babies to kick the piano keys to hear 5-8 seconds of music; and piano mode, which plays music notes for each key kicked. The Smilestones Kick & Play Peek-a-Boo Piano also has soft lighting that turns on as your baby plays and an insect friend with soft wings that tickles your baby's toes to encourage kicking. Piano features adjustable volume control and can be used in or out of the crib.

Fun for kicking! October 1, 2008 J. Mcintosh (NC) The sounds are loud and I like the option of being able to use the music inthree different ways. The only problme is that there doesn't seem to be enough surface area for my son to hit the keys and get it going. But other than that I love the piano. It is great for tummy time too!!
Great! July 9, 2008 K. Lawrence (NY United States) My daughter loved this from about 4 mos. to 9-10 mos. She kicked away at it. The music is very pleasant (classical!) , has volume control, and 3 different settings. Like some people have said, it would be nice, maybe in future versions, to have alternative ways to mount it, or a stand of some sort for playing on the floor or something. My daugher also played with it when she was a little older, by holding it on her lap and pressing the keys. Since, as with most baby toys, it's still in great shape, I'm passing it along at a baby shower this weekend. I just hope my daughter, now 14 mos. doesn't pitch a fit when the mother-to-be opens it! We'll both be sad to see it go. It's one of those things. Deinitely recommended!
Perfect toy! July 3, 2008 A. Caron (MA) My 4.5 month old daughter LOVES kicking this. She's figured out that if she kicks it, fun songs come out, so she wants to kick it even more. It's a lot of fun to watch her play with this!
Great toy for 1 month and older! June 13, 2008 K. (central Ohio, USA) When my son was about a month old, it became very obvious to everyone that when he was awake, he expected to be entertained. Being so little, I had no idea what kind of things we could do with him, and a friend gave us this toy. We spent a few minutes every day for a couple of months playing with this toy on the floor, and he loved it! I propped it up against the couch and set it to play continually, and then i waved his hands and feet in time to the music, while he watched the lights and the birdie. Now that he is five months old, he loves to play with the toy with the kicking features, and grabs at the bird constantly. As another reviewer mentioned, we also use our crib for sleeping and NOT playing, so we've never mounted it in his crib, yet it is still very useful for keeping him occupied, and he still loves to play with it every day! The only downside is that I wish it did have some sort of stand to prop it up when it's not crib-mounted; it's a little difficult to hold a baby and also keep the piano propped up when he kicks it! Grade: A
The best toy! June 7, 2008 TBL This piano has been the best toys for our girl so far! She is 3 months and loves kicking this thing to make music! Very very nice toy and our baby daughter enjoys it A LOT!
