Too confusing October 19, 2008 Robo (San Diego, CA) I did not like this product. I can't believe you have to watch a DVD to use it. Also, why doesn't it come folded so you don't have to watch the DVD. My 9 lb son does not fit that well in it and cried the whole time once I finally got him in it. I am really disappointed. And I don't have TIME to watch a DVD.
Good product if you want to shell it out December 8, 2007 Megan Evans (Ashburnham, MA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I like this sling but it is very simple for a hefty price tag. You could honestly create your own to do the same thing since it is just fabric.
I love it!!! June 16, 2007 M. Coriano (queens, ny) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great sling better than a basic front carrier and so easy to use. My 4 month old got a little fussy at first but after a few tries she really enjoys being held and looking around to see what is going on. I mainly use it when she doesnt want to stay in the stroller. I bought a size bigger than i was suppose to get and it's perfect. Very stylish. My only regret is that i didnt buy a neutral color like black or brown since this pattern does not go with every outfit.
My favorite baby/toddler item! June 6, 2007 L. Riggs (Houston, TX) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have two kids and I love to have one in my Hotsling while the other is in the stroller/shopping cart. It's cozier than keeping my infant in his carseat carrier. It's also lighter to tote him around this way. When he had colic, I would cradle him in my Hotsling and I was able to move around the house and do the things I needed (tend to my toddler) while comforting him. Now that he can sit up on his own, I carry him on my hip in the sling. He can look all around or nap snuggled up to me. It's one of the few baby items I have that I can see myself using all the way through his first year ... and maybe longer. My 2 1/2 year old fits in it great. I was unable to use my Baby Bjorn because I never felt like I could get my daughter positioned right. When I did get her in there, my shoulders would hurt after 15 minutes. I never have that problem with my Hotsling. My son goes in or out of the sling faster than I can get him in a carseat. I also think he is very happy with it. He can look around from my hip and I'm right there for him. For those reviews about having a hard time with the sling... make sure you get the right size. There are detailed instructions for measuring yourself to get the right size. There are also videos and step by step instructions for use on the website. I love my Hotsling. I wish I had gotten one with my first child, but I am SO thankful that I have one now that I have two children. Now I just wish I had one in just about every print because they are cute too!
Fabulous Versatile Baby Carrier! June 1, 2007 G. Sorce (Philadelphia, PA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I got a hotsling after my baby was too heavy to use the Bjorn. You can use the hotsling in several different positions, and they are SO comfy, even with my 25lb toddler! I used mine with my daughter even when she was two years old and I was five months pregnant. I cannot say enough good things about this sling. It is beautiful and well made. With a little practice it is second nature to use it! I highly recommend checking some babywearing sites online for advice and help using it if you are having trouble. It is worth it to carry my baby comfortably hands free!
