Product Description The Snug and Tug Swaddle blanket is like no other swaddle blanket we have seen so far. Aside from how cute the designs are, the triangular shape of the Snug & Tug is ideal for swaddling your baby. Whether your baby is fussy, colicky or having trouble sleeping through the night this is a great addition to your layette and will soon be your answer to all your baby's fussy moments. It can be used anywhere, from the crib, changing table, floor mat or even on the couch. The preformed swaddle blanket is equipped for a fast quick and easy swaddle. No thinking required on this one, who wants to think with a newborn anyway. * The full-body pouch, which is sized to grow with your baby, allows your baby to kick and wiggle all night long without escaping. * The small opening on the left side, allows you to easily wrap both sides of the blanket around the baby. * The Velcro, which are strategically placed, ensure that the blanket stays in place. * The Velcro on the Snug and Tug also provides adjustability as your baby grows.

Allowed my baby and ME to sleep October 5, 2008 Lindsay Lucarelli I was apprehensive to swaddle. I thought, "my baby likes his hands free." But, he never was a great sleeper. At 6 weeks, I needed a life line and I tried to swaddle him with a borrowed Miracle Blanket. He slept 7 hours that night for the first time. From there, he was always swaddled for sleep times and it was wonderful. When he got too big for the Miracle Blanket, I found the Snug and Tug size 3 - 6 months. This was truly fantastic - and actually a bit more secure for a strong baby. Don't be nervous. Swaddling was great for my baby and great for our household.
Strangulation Hazard! August 27, 2008 J. Mcintosh (NC) Horrible design! Don't buy! I woke up this morning to my son screaming because he had gotten his arms out (as usual) and the top flap had lifted up to his neck and it was choking him! The design allows for the left arm to be loose underneath the final flap. Your supposed to be able to tuck the arm in with the patterned section of material but there is no way to seal the arm where it needs to be. That makes it easier for the baby to get their arm out of the flap by squirming and pushing against the blanket. Once they lift the flap it rises up their chest depending on how far they lift their arm. In my sons case it had tightened completely around his neck. Because the top flap Velcros at the neck there is no way for the baby to release the tightened flap! These should be recalled!!
okay but miracle blanket is better July 3, 2008 J. Kalis (Columbus, OH USA) I tried this in the larger size because my baby outgrew the miracle blanket around 16 weeks. I had high hopes but my baby got her left arm out anyway within 30 minutes or so. I was very disappointed. It also seemed to work its way up over her face a little bit. Maybe I should have made it tighter but I was scared to make it too tight. I highly recommend the miracle blanket instead for newborns up to 14 weeks. It's the only swaddling blanket my baby couldn't get her arms out of. UPDATE: I decided to alter this swaddling blanket to resemble the miracle blanket by sewing on an arm flap on the left side and cutting the pouch horizontally across to create a second arm flap on the right side. The blanket now works great and her arms stay put and the blanket stays down in place. I plan on using this blanket until she outgrows it. It's very soft and quite cute.
A life- saver!!! Saved my sanity with my 2nd child January 5, 2008 G. Fiebrich 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I couldn't have survived my son's first 6 months w/out the Snug & Tug. This is the best gift you could a new mom or the best thing you could buy for you and your baby. It really helped me create a sleep schedule that worked.Evevry parent should have one of these. The larger size is great too becasue it's so big.
