I added this 'night light' in my sons' space-themed bedroom and I turn it on at night every single night. It shows the phases of the moon and the light it gives off is truly like moonlight. It turns off after 30 minutes, I believe, which is enough time for the kids to fall asleep. It uses up batteries every six weeks or so, but then again, I use every night.

My children love having a moon in their room at night. The moon automatically turns off after 30 minutes. Part of their "getting ready for bed" routine is to select the shape of moon they want. The only downside is we have to replace the batteries quite a bit. Other than that, it's wonderful!

The moon itself is truly fantastic. It is realistic looking as well as functions quite well. We purchased the moon for our son for his 6th birthday, upon opening and installing it, the remote didn't quite have the range that it stated in the advertisement. I called the company and they shipped me a new remote - which works beautifully. My son loves the moon and uses it every night. A perfect present!

My son received this for his fifth birthday. Since then, he has taken every person who enters our house to see the moon. HE uses it as a night light and with the timer it turns itself off after about 15-20 minutes.I would recommend this highly.

This was a gift for my nephew who lives in another state. I received information that Anthony was really anxious to see the moon on his ceiling, and upset they had no batteries in the fridge. Soon batteries arrived and he was able to turn on the 'Moon in his Room' and thought it was really cool! A fun and educational way to learn about that bright light in the night sky.
