My 4 year old is obsessed with Ben 10 and has been for over a year now, I got this game for him for his 4th birthday actually because he loves board games and he is a smart for his age so I figured he would maybe be able to do it even with the age recommendation. He definitely gets it and wants to play it repeatedly every single day. I, however find it so boring and lame. They could have really put some more thought into it to make it more interesting and fun. It's like they just said to themselves "Hey, Ben 10 is getting popular, let's put out as much merchandise as possible as quickly as possible so we can make money." But, I guess the point is that my son loves it and will even play by himself. My biggest complaint is that they do not tell you the names of the villains anywhere and there is one in particular they we do not know the name of because he's only breifly in one episode and his name is never mentioned. They could have done a much better job at their villain selection amoung other things.
Booooring! February 17, 2008 S. Baig (Raleigh, NC) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I got this for my 5 year old who is almost 6 and a fanatic of Ben 10, and even though it's recommended for 6-99 year olds, I thought that with my help we would enjoy playing this board game.Oh! to my disappointment I was terribly bored by it. I love playing board games but the whole premise of the game was quite "blah". The istructions are the kind you need to read more than twice to completely understand where things go and how to play. The cardboard pieces were folded and worn out by the end of the month. My son put it away and hasn't asked for it since.

7 and up might really mean 7 and up on this one. My children are 6 & 4, They LOVE Ben 10. But when the 4 of us sat down to play this game it was tough. We packed it up and will try again in a few months.
