Wonderful coverage November 12, 2008 L. Mitchum I have been using Double Wear Makeup for 3 years. I've tried other products but nothing compares to the staying power and finish of this product. I've always had the problem of my make up sliding off by midday. This lasts until you take it off, but it doesn't look thick and caky like a mask. I love it !!!! It does last a long time if you use your fingers or a brush but not a sponge.
Love it! Actually stays in place all day! July 23, 2008 Robert L. Sellers (South Riding, Virginia) I have been using this make-up for about a year & I absolutely love it. It stays in place all day & covers uneven skin tones. I sometimes tan & sometimes find that go between shades. I have a winter shade & a summer shade that I mix together for that perfect in-between. I wear the foundation everyday & one bottle lasts about 3 months. My suggestion is to go to Estee Lauder & ask a consultant to match you with a couple of shades before ordering online. There are just too many choices to guess. If you choose the wrong shade, you'll most certainly be unhappy with it. If you like full-coverage make-up that blends well & stays in place, you'll love this one! Good Luck, Mrs. Sellers
Not worth the $$$ June 1, 2008 Swe Thane Race: Asian Age: 21 Skin: Combination (Oily T-zone) Pros: Gives full coverage, doesn't smell bad, stays fresh all day, matte finish. Cons: Very cakey feel even when you put very little, hard to spread on your face, not a huge variety of colours for asian skin tones. I was really looking forward to this foundation as there were many many great reviews on the net. I had done a bit of research before I went out to buy it. However, they did not have my skin tone so I went with a few shades darker and that was a disaster. I like my skin to glow so putting a darker foundation on did not work well with that and I do not need a tanned look as I am asian and fairly tanned already. Also it feels very cakey but covers imperfections very well because of it. It might have been something I would use if they had my skin tone. But I found my ideal foundation from prescriptives (also owned by Estee Lauder). They have many gold under tone shades perfect for asians.
