 I like it and I'm really picky August 16, 2008

For me, this is a very refreshing drink with little guilt. I find it exactly the right amount of sweetness that I can enjoy without sugar overkill. I NEVER drink sodas, Kool-Ade nor eat Jell-0 nor Kool-Whip, etc... artificial colors, artificial flavors and refined sugars with unpronounceable chemicals - poisons to the body. Granted the nutrient content is very low in these drinks but it IS in there. That, along with the fact it's made with real fruit juices, is better than not having them in there as with other sodas. What's important here is what's NOT in these. I ordered the Blackberry and the Pomegranate. I won't be giving the Pomegranate 5 stars because, as others say, it's got so little pomegranate, it's barely detectable and I feel it's a deception to even call it 'Sparkling Pomegranate' and the Izze really should consider correcting that deception. Pomegranate is all the rage and they've made the collective decision to deceive - not giving us much credit as consumers, are they! I think I remember seeing some pomegranate juice concentrate somewhere and adding a little of that would be an excellent way to get some of the good stuff inside our bodies...we could have done that with club soda! They should name it `Mixed Fruit with Pomegranate' - I could live with that and they could sleep better. I doubt if it even bothers them!
The Blackberry tastes a little sweeter (20 grams) than the Pomegranate (19 grams) but I attribute that to the fact that there's more lemon and cranberry in it than pomegranate in it!

I bought the pomegranite and blackberry for their antioxidant power. However, the #1 ingredient was APPLE juice!!! I am very disappointed. If the can says blackberry then at least the # ingredient should be blackberry. This has all kinds of other stuff with the blackberry at the 4th ingredient. When it says 70% juice it means all kinds of other fruit. It probably has like 5% blackberry. It tastes good but nutritionally worthless.

Just want to say one thing about the sparkling apple. It tasted darn good when I was thirsty and pulled an ice cold one out of the fridge. It was just the right size to quench my thirst. Will purchase in the future.

I must confess to being completely taken by this juice. I adore the packaging, the name, and even the story behind its birth.
The taste is delightfully refreshing and different. And while it does nothing in aiding the diet or lowering your sugar intake, it does make you feel better about drinking it since it is not a soft drink per say.
My husband who hates all things that could potentially be healthy would allow me to put this into his lunch. It was a huge deal that he liked these. Again, it's better than the Mountain Dew he constantly drinks otherwise.
Fun, fruity, and unique... we do buy this juice occasionally. However, it too is hard to find and expensive when we do to carry it as a regular grocery staple.
