I couldnt get not even 1 dvd to work! It took literally 5 minutes for each dvd disc of spinning inside my dvd player just to tell me "Invalid Disk". Save your money and your time! Do NOT buy this piece of garbage!

I purchased these disks to backup my C drive using Powerquest Drive Image. I read some of the negitive posts about this item, but thought I would give them a gamble......and lost.... I tried five disks trying to backup C drive and decided not to wste anymore time or disks. My C drive usually takes 2 DVD diaks, but fails on the first disk. BURN PROCESS FAILED. I tried to save a movie that I had downloaded, It FAILED. I tried to burn some music folders. They FAILED. I have some HP's that burn ok.......... I use these DVD's to copy my kids' movies, so they do not scatch the originals. The first few I tried failed and I was angry. I thought I wasted my money on a defective product, but after looking at the reviews I tried lowering my burning speed and not one has failed since. I think it is probably my older computer that is not equipped to handle burning at 8X. Acceptable product for the price. If speed is what you want, try a different brand, but if you are in no rush, slow down the bunring speed and you should not have any trouble.

Actually, the 50% success rate is a very generous assessment because I really had only about 7 or 8 successful burns in 20 atempts. Usually when I experience errors burning dvd's I'll try different software and that'll solve the problem. But with these discs, using 4 to 5 different software programs, and always burning at the slowest speed possible, appeared to have little affect.
