SDHC Card October 15, 2008 Robert Dickerson Very satisfied with this product. They delay in receiving was an error with USPS and Amazon was totally helpful with the resolution.
It stopped working shortly after purchase. October 15, 2008 Alan Math (Provo, UT) The card work the first two or three times I used it. Then it stopped working. I can't read or write to it anymore.
Lots of memory October 14, 2008 PayPay I think this memory card may be ever so slightly slower at taking pics than my higher quality 1G card. BUT I may be just imagining it. Regardless, it's a honkin' ton of memory and I never have to worry about running out/switching cards. Since I use my Canon sd870 as a "photo frame" half the time, showing pictures that I am too unorganized and/or lazy to get developed in a timely fashion, it works perfectly for me. Lots of room for videos too. I spent less for this 8G card than I did for a 1G card less than a year ago. Whew - such a racket!
Simply didn't work - a disappointment October 13, 2008 David R. Yates (Vancouver, BC Canada) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I read a lot of positive reviews about this card, and I was excited about having 8 more gigs to increase the capacity of my Creative Zen Mp3 player. Unfortunately, when I received the card, I didn't have an immediate use for it, so I didn't check it out right away. I let it sit around for about two months. This weekend I went to use it, and it wasn't recognized by either the Zen or the computer. I've tried several tests to see if the problem was on the end of the computer/mp3 player, but the issue seems to be with the card. It must be a dud. I have to dig up my receipt and see if I kept any packaging. it's too late to return this to Amazon, so I'll see what Transcend has to offer, if anything. It's disappointing to not be able to rely on such a purchase when I most needed it. Now I probably have to go to a local shop and see if I can find something that compares, although I know it will be hard to get as good a deal for this much storage.
Lots o' Love October 12, 2008 Jon B. Buffington (Portland, OR) Lots of room on this little card and I will be using it on my 3 months in the Middle East in the Spring. I have several other cards that will fit, it turns out, but this one will be my main stash.
