Product Description The new Micro Driver Drill from Hitachi is the first in a series of 10.8 volt Lithium Ion tools. The DB10DL is impressively lightweight and compact at less than 6" in length and weighing only 1.8 lbs. Fitting easily in any tool belt, it is the ideal drill for trades such as installation, electrical, HVAC or for mor eprecise applications like finish cabinetry. Its compact size is especially useful when working in tight spaces that are hard to reach with conventional drills. Hitachi's DB10DL Micro-Drill is free standing for convenience: simply set the tool down on its battery and it stands on its own. Its balanced handle (5 1/2" in circumference) ergonomically supports the hand for a comfortable and secure grip. This tool comes with two 1.5 Amp/Hr. Li-Ion batteries that deliver consistent power for the duration of the charge unlike traditional Ni-Cad batteries that fade as soon as the trigger is pulled. Li-Ion batteries have an overall life that is 3x longer than traditional Ni-Cad batteries.

Very Handy. May 13, 2008 1 out of 8 found this review helpful
This product meets my expectation. Can't compare it to other products as this is my first power tool. Thought it had good reviews and bought it. Its not let me down till now. Will have a detailed review once i have used it for some more time.
Small, Light, Handy April 30, 2008 6 out of 14 found this review helpful
To good to pass up at $99 with drill bit kit. I haven't used this yet, but bought to match my Hitachi 18v Lithion impact wrench I use on my cars.
Expect to use this as my only drill around the house for projects. Replaces some Coleman 18v Drills I bought at Pep-Boys, which were too bulky/heavy. This unit is much nicer and easier to operate due to small size and light weight.
Comparable to the Bosch PS20, but can stand up on battery which is handy.
It's small and light, the LED is right by the bit attachment and lights up well. Unit and movement feel very solid and much better quality than my $30 drill this replaced. Happy with purchase at initial "play time"; will update one I use this for real.
