Product Description A high-capacity environmentally-friendly mower that can actually pay for itself in fuel savings! No gas, oil, tune-ups - and NO annoying loud-mower noise. In our tests, we were very impressed with the cutting power; thick grass 4-5" tall didn't bog it down substantially - even in mulching mode. Patented rechargeable battery technology extends no-load run-time to over 4 hours - 2-3 times that of other cordless mowers - practical for use on lawns up to 1/2 acre/22,000 sq ft. Battery service-life is affected by factors such as number of charge/discharge cycles, charging procedure, proper maintenance and others; typical battery service-life of 3-5 years (battery is owner-replaceable and currently retails for $90.00; follow Operating Manual instructions to achieve maximum battery life). Removable safety key disables mower against accidental/unintentional operation. Smooth-rolling 7" front and 9" rear rubber - not plastic - wheels; mower weighs less-than 100 lbs for easy maneuverability. One-touch 7-position height adjustment, folding handle for compact storage. Includes UL-listed 110-volt AC charger (10-12 hours for full charge.) Ships UPS/FedEx partially assembled (just attach handle.) Manufacturer's 3-year parts and labor warranty.

It is there August 24, 2008 W. Torborg (Here, USA) When I got this 107 lb lawnmower I put it together and had to give it a 24 hr charge before using it. After 48 hrs I was able to use it for 90 min. before it was totally discharged. I recharged it for 36 hrs and used it for 30 min. then it never gave me any more usages. They replaced it with another one and that one was worse than the first one. My advice: look for something better.
had to return both lawn mowers,i belive the circuit boad mal functioned. August 24, 2008 sorry for the returns, your circuit needs tobe overhauled.i believe than you will have a good product.still waiting for my mpney tobe refunded. e. dean
Not bad but arrived with wheel August 18, 2008 Armyguy (KS) Overall, decent (not great) product, but fairly priced and cuts ok so I still prefer it to a gas mower. Arrived a full 2 weeks after ordering (free shipping so can't complain) with a damaged front wheel. Emailed Jack's and they sent a replacement(arrived almost 3 weeks later). Easily assembled. First two mows was with wobbly busted front wheel and pretty long grass (5") and mower performed marginally requiring multiple passes. With new wheel applied on 4" grass, it did better, though it leaves an occasional blade of grass standing. Seems to hold its charge for at least an hour, though my charge light never turns green and the charge indicator stays red even if I charge it for a few days. Length indicator label fell off after the first mow so leave it at mid-range setting. Never used a electric cordless before so can't compare its performance, but satisfies my requirements - 1/3 acre with a couple of 45 deg. hills
Great mower August 16, 2008 Recluse (Hastings, Fl United States) Just finished mowing the swale area of my half acre yard and I am so happy. The grass has been cut beautifully. The mower almost stalled on a patch of tall grass but made a fine recovery. The grass in the tall patch was somewhere around 4 inches which for a regular mower may not be such a challenge but this is an electric mower. I had no problem assembling the mower and I did not need to adjust the height since I wanted it at the lowest setting. The green light came on after an approximate 28 hour charge time. Jacks Toolshed sent an email with special instructions prior to delivery. I started the mower as instructed in the email by pushing the black lever forward, and not touching the wire bale stop. I realize this is contrary to most mowers that use the wire bale to engage the mower blades but this is not the case with this mower. I am extremely pleased with this purchase at this time. It is my hope that it will continue to function well and at this time I fully expect that it will.
