I bought this water slide for my sons b-day. The first time we used it we realized what a hassle it would be to put it away after every use so we decided to only use it once in a while . After you use it , it has to dry COMPLETELY before storing or it will turn black very quickly. IT IS VERY HEAVY!! too heavy for a mom and small children to set up.
We took care of it properly, we even bought a cart to carry it and a large plastic bin to store it in, forget about storing it in the red bag that comes with it!
My son is 6 years old and he weighs no more than 50 LBS. His friend came over, he is also 6 and weighs the same, there was no rough play going on or anything of that sort when it started deflating on them for no reason, we searched what was the matter and finally we came across this large hole off to one side. You can tell it started ripping from the seams and then tore off to one side. The water hose also tore off.
I think this toy is way to expensive for the quality and fun you get out of it. I don't live in the states so I had to pay 250 more for shipping for a total of $850.00. Save your money and take your kids and their friends to a water park instead. It will be funner, cheaper, you don't have to store it, clean it, carry it or deal with a company who will not make themselves responsible for any of the damages. you can view pictures of the hole on the image section of this product.
My recommendation....... Don't buy it!
Fun Summer Product for Ages 2-10 August 19, 2008

This product is used by several families who pooled together monies to replace an older model (which lost its ability to retain good air pressure after 2+ years). The design is very fun for ages 2-10, and allows for multiple kids' use at the same time. The motor is more powerful than the last version we'd had. We have been very happy with the results for the six weeks that we've had it. We would definitely acquire it again.
Challenges: Drying the product out before storage. Weight of the item. Storage space for the item.

I purchased this for my grandkids. They love it! The set up was not bad. It really does blow up in 5 minutes. The only down side is You have to keep moving it to save the grass.

We purchased a Roaring Rapids Adventure for our 2yr olds birthday party. We set it up one time before the party to see if it was OK. The kids had so much fun with it. Even my husband and I had fun. Then we set it up a second time for the party and all the kids enjoyed it. The next day when we were cleaning it up and getting it ready to pack away we noted the inner slides seam was torn. We were so upset. We contacted the number on the slide and they were very willing to replace it, but the slide is on back-order. Until the slide arrives they suggested we repair this one with a tent repair kit. So that was our only downfall with the slide. We hope we get the new one and are able to enjoy it next season. The slide is great but it is a little difficult to get it back into the bag. The second time was much easier then the first.

A few family members and us all chipped in and bought this slide for all the kids in our huge extended family. It turned out to be a great buy. All of the kids love it(and even some of the adults). They have had tons of fun this summer. We would definately recommend this product. One more thing I should include, we did have a problem the first time we used the slide. It seemed to start to disinflate after a couple hours of use. We called Toy Quest as stated on the product, they quickly redirected us to Amazon. Amazon was quick to help. They offered to send us a new one and pay for us to send the used one back. We received the new slide about a week later and followed the instructions on how to send the other one back. We resumed to our summer fun in no time. I have to say Amazon provided us with great customer care! We have had no problems since.
